STEP 02

Medical evaluation & labs

A full workup: metabolic labs, medications review, and screening for the medical causes of weight gain (thyroid, insulin resistance, sleep, and more).

STEP 03

Your personalized plan

Nutrition and lifestyle strategy tailored to you, plus medication options, including brand-name GLP-1s, when medically appropriate.

STEP 04

Ongoing check-ins

Why see a real doctor for this?

Online weight-loss subscriptions have made GLP-1s easy to get, and easy to get wrong. Rushed 5-minute video calls, no labs, no continuity, and nobody watching how your body responds. Weight is medical. It deserves actual medicine.

About medication costs: GLP-1 medications are purchased separately, directly from the manufacturers' self-pay pharmacy programs, currently about $299/month for brand-name semaglutide (Wegovy®) or tirzepatide (Zepbound®). We help you access the lowest available self-pay pricing, and if your insurance covers the medication, your cost may be far lower. Lab work is billed separately at direct-pay rates or through your insurance.

GLP-1 medications, done right.

Medications like semaglutide (Wegovy®) and tirzepatide (Zepbound®) work by regulating appetite and supporting your metabolism. For the right patient, they are the most effective weight-loss medications ever available. Clinical trials show average losses of 15–20% of body weight.

"Weight is medical, not a moral failure. My job is to treat it that way."

Dr. Nita Rastogi

In this program, GLP-1 treatment means:

  • Brand-name, FDA-approved medication, never unregulated compounded copies
  • A real medical screening first: labs, history, and an honest conversation about whether they're right for you
  • Careful, personalized dosing, titrated to results and tolerability, not a fixed schedule
  • Muscle-protection built in: protein targets and strength guidance so the weight you lose is fat
  • A maintenance plan, including how and when to step down, so results last

GLP-1s aren't for everyone, and this program doesn't require them. If medication isn't appropriate for you, Dr. Rastogi will tell you, and you'll still get a serious medical plan.

Meet Dr. Nita Rastogi, MD, FACP

Dr. Rastogi is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has cared for patients in the Harrisburg community for more than 25 years. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

She built this program because she kept seeing the same thing: patients working hard, blaming themselves, and getting nowhere, because nobody was treating their weight as the medical issue it is. Her approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic: metabolism, medications, sleep, stress, and the realities of your daily life.

Small changes. Big transformations.

Where you can be seen:

  • In person: 4701 Devonshire Road, Suite 102, Harrisburg, PA 17109
  • By telemedicine: video visits for patients in Pennsylvania (additional states coming soon)

Telemedicine patients complete lab work at a location near them and receive medications through home-delivery pharmacies.

Questions people actually ask.

Do I need insurance?

No. This is a self-pay program with transparent pricing. That's what lets us skip prior authorizations and waiting lists. If your insurance covers GLP-1 medications, we're happy to work with it for the medication itself.

How much do the medications cost?

Brand-name GLP-1s through the manufacturers' self-pay programs typically run about $299 per month. If your insurance covers them, your cost may be much lower. We'll map out your real monthly cost before you commit to anything.

Will I definitely be prescribed a GLP-1?

Only if it's medically appropriate for you. That's the point of seeing a physician: an honest evaluation first. Many patients do qualify. But if you don't, or if a different approach fits better, that's what we'll do instead.

How much weight will I lose?

Everyone responds differently, and no honest doctor guarantees a number. In clinical trials, patients on GLP-1 medications combined with lifestyle changes lost 15–20% of their body weight on average over about a year. Your results depend on your body, your medication, and your consistency.

What about side effects?

The most common are nausea, constipation, and digestive upset, especially when doses increase. This is exactly why physician supervision matters: careful titration and quick adjustments keep most patients comfortable. You'll always be able to reach us between visits.

I'm in my 40s/50s and the weight showed up with menopause. Is this for me?

Especially for you. Weight gain in perimenopause and menopause is hormonal and metabolic, not a willpower problem, and it's one of the areas where an experienced internist matters most. Dr. Rastogi manages the whole picture: metabolism, thyroid, hormones, and medication, together.

I tried one of the online weight-loss apps and it didn't go well. Will this be different?

Many of our patients come from exactly that experience: surprise charges, providers they couldn't reach, doses that were never adjusted. Here you see the same physician every visit, your dosing is actively managed, and when something feels off you call the office and a real person answers.

I don't live near Harrisburg. Can I still join?

If you live in Pennsylvania, yes. Video visits work for the entire program, with labs done near you and medication shipped to your door. We're expanding to additional states; call and we'll tell you the current list.

What happens when I reach my goal?

We build the off-ramp together. Maintenance is part of the program, whether that means stepping down the medication, staying on a lower dose, or transitioning fully to lifestyle-based maintenance. The goal is results that last, not a subscription that never ends.

A healthier you starts today.
